In the summer months, Beaver Creek Resort is alive with outdoor activities. From rounds of golf, to biking, hiking, rafting, and kayaking, there is fun to be found. Kids can participate in camps and other kid-friendly activities. Please speak with the Poste Montane Concierge for family vacation ideas and to help secure activity reservations. Activities include, but are not limited to:

Fly Fishing

Expert fly fishing guides help find the perfect places for wild rainbow trout, browns, cutthroats, and brookies. Please ask about booking a half or full day trip with our concierge.

Golf

The Vail Valley has numerous world class courses, including the 18 hole Beaver Creek Golf Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Some area courses are private, while others are public or have certain restrictions in place. Please speak with the Poste Montane Lodge’s concierge for assistance in booking your tee time.

Hiking and Biking

Biking and hiking trails can be found on Beaver Creek Mountain and surrounding areas. For those looking for guided hikes, visit the Beaver Creek Hiking Center. Bike rentals are available from multiple shops in the Village including our partners Base Mountain Sports.

Horseback Riding

Experience trips through the beautiful Rocky Mountains on horseback. Tours are offered on mountain by Beaver Creek Stables. Numerous other options, located 30 minutes from the lodge, include Bear Cats Stables and 4 Eagle Ranch.

Jeep and 4X4 Tours

Off-road trips on Beaver Creek Mountain and the surrounding area is a great way to experience Colorado. Trips are usually half-day and offer chances to see local wildlife and scenery. These trips can be especially breathtaking in the fall.

Kids Activities

Beaver Creek Adventure Center offers a bungee trampoline, climbing walls, gem panning, miniature golf, and a ropes course. Day camps are offered throughout the summer and activities are offered at the Beaver Creek Children’s Museum. Multiple other options including a mountain coaster are found at Adventure Ridge in Vail.

Rafting & Kayaking

Rafting trips are available May-September. These trips can be geared towards all ages and levels of experience, from family float trips to more thrilling whitewater rafting. ½ day and full day’s trips are available.

Vilar Performing Arts Center

Located steps from the Poste Montane, this 530 seat theater offers year round entertainment including concerts, jazz, comedy, dance, film, musicals, theater, family shows, and more.

Weekly Concerts & Live Music

During peak summer month’s free live music can be found throughout the area. From Concerts by the Creek on Wednesdays and Friday Afternoon Club in the heart of the Village there is plenty of music to enjoy. Other weekly options in the area include free live music in Avon, Eagle, Minturn, and Vail.
